Legion to have fish fry on April 26

 

Dining at American Legion Post 81, 405 East Washington St., in Monticello, is open to the public on Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The menu consists of sandwiches, sandwich baskets, various appetizers, wings, and shrimp. Carry-outs are also available.

The Legion is also open to the public on Friday nights with weekly specials being offered along with the regular menu. April specials are meatloaf, April 5; lasagna, April 12; baked steak, April 19; and all-you-can-eat fish fry, April 26. Carry-outs are available, and the meals range from $10-$15.

Regular hours of operation are 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Saturday; and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Friday.

Open Sunday is on April 21, from noon to 6 p.m. There will be fun, food, and raffles. Meat will be provided, please bring a side dish to share. Free-will donations are appreciated.
