Heather M. Absher

Heather M. Maxson Absher, 43 of Greenfield, passed away at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at Community North Hospital surrounded by her family. Born December 2, 1980 in Monticello to Joseph and Linda Watson Maxson, Heather was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. Heather married Jon Absher on April 4, 2010, in Monticello and he survives.

Heather loved camping and off roading, attending concerts (her favorite was Jelly Roll), holidays, spending time with family, and being around her friends.

Surviving are Heather’s beloved husband Jon of Greenfield, her mother Linda Maxson (Michael Thompson) of Buffalo, children Abigail (Kevin) Deemer of West Lafayette, Jace Small of West Lafayette, Kami Absher of Greenfield, brother Jeremy (Crystal) Maxson of Buffalo, maternal grandparents Larry and Donna Bush of Monticello, mother-in-law Debbie (Robert) Mattsey of Greenfield, father-in-law Rod (Sandy) Absher of Greenfield, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph “Joe” R. Maxson, Grandparents Charles and Dorothy Maxson, Aunts Betty West and Pamela Whatts-Swarzel, and Uncle Gregory Viney.

Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday April 26, 2024 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home in Monticello. Funeral Services will be at 4 p.m. in Miller-Roscka chapel with Fred Criminger officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Monticello, IN.
