White County Democrats host Town Hall on data centers

TheWhite County Democrats are hosting a second town hall meeting on data centers Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. in the gym at the former Reynolds school. The public is invited to attend. There will be new information gathered from Freedom of Information Act requests.

Reynolds hosts Breakfast with Santa

Sponsored by the Town of Reynolds and Honey Creek Township, enjoy Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 7 to 10 a.m. for a free will donation at the former Reynolds school gym. All proceeds will go to renovate the new park.

White County Extension Homemakers host 5-course meal

Join the White County Extension Homemakers for a Christmas luncheon featuring a 5-course meal at the beautifully decorated Historic Wolcott House on Saturday, Dec. 6, 1 p.m. The meal menu is:

Appetizers: Crackers w/ mini cheese balls, radish rose, celery, carrots sticks, cucumber slices

Soup course: Broccoli cheese soup/oyster crackers

Salad course: Romaine salad

Main course: Boozy Pork Tenderloin, company potatoes, glazed carrots, cranberry relish

Dessert course: Chocolate trifle, cookies candy-mints tray

Beverages: Coffee, Punch, Water

Tickets are $20 each. Reservations are due by Dec. 1. The event includes musical entertainment and door prizes. The Wolcott House is located at 500 N. Monticello VFW collecting for food pantry, Veterans Home

Monticello VFW is collecting donations for the White County Food Pantry again this year. In addition to food donations, the members are going to be collecting donations of pajamas, warm socks, shaving necessities and other useful items to donate to the Veterans’ Home in Lafayette. Delphi Main Street announces

Community Tree Lighting Ceremony

Delphi Main Street is excited to announce the return of a cherished holiday tradition with a Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 6 p.m. The event will take place on the Carroll County Courthouse Square in downtown Delphi, where the community will gather to officially light the monument tree for the first time in years.

This year’s ceremony will feature special guests from Delphi Community Elementary School, who have been invited to join Mayor Kamron Yates in lighting the tree. Their participation highlights the importance of involving youth in community celebrations and brings an extra touch of joy to the evening.

Delphi Main Street invites residents, families and visitors to join in this festive kickoff to the holiday season. Attendees can look forward to a warm, family-friendly atmosphere as the courthouse square comes alive with lights, community spirit, and holiday cheer.
