Schools to celebrate veterans on Veterans DayFree Access

North White Elementary School will host a Veterans Day celebration next Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 9:30 a.m. Guests should enter through Door #2. Join the students as they honor veterans and enjoy a morning filled with songs, poems and heartfelt tributes from the fifth grade students. Everyone is welcome to join in appreciation for those who have served our country.

North White Jr./Sr. High School is hosting a program on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11, from 2:17 – 3:14 p.m. Veterans are invited to attend.

The program includes a trumpet playing taps, a reading of Flander’sField,abriefslideshow,veteransspeakandaQ&Awith students.

Frontier Elementary School

Frontier Elementary School will honor veterans on Tuesday, Nov.

11, 6 p.m. in the Brookston Old Gym with a fifth grade music program.

Tri-County

Tri-County Jr./Sr. High School invites veterans to Veterans Day celebration

The students and staff at Tri-Country Junior/Senior High School would like to gratefully invite you to our annual Veterans Day celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. The program will be held at the Tri-County Junior/Senior High School auditorium. The student parking lot will be available for veterans. Please enter the main door (Door #1) by the flagpole. This year’s program will include Tri-County’s High School Band, Choir, FFA, and Junior/Senior Social Studies classes.

The program will last approximately 55 minutes with a lunch prepared by our culinary arts students, provided at the conclusion of the program to thank you for your brave and courageous service to our nation’s military. We will recognize each branch of the military so please feel free to wear any military attire resembling your branch of service.

Please consider attending our Veterans Day celebration because we truly appreciate your sacrifices and especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. We look forward to your attendance. These are difficult times, but our veterans will always be near and dear to our hearts and minds!
