1. Two Cookin Sisters was on Prairie Street in Brookston from the beginning of the 21st century until 2015 when it closed due to the health of a family member.
2. Ideal Beach was transformed into Indiana Beach in 1952 by owner Tom Spackman to usher in a new style and make it more of an amusement park with more rides and other things than a swimming and dance venue.
