It’s hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Frontier can now relate to. They were dealt a 42-6 defeat at the hands of the Pioneer Panthers on Friday. The matchup marked the Falcons’ lowest-scoring game and their one and only loss this season.
Pioneer’s win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shiloh Rine, who rushed for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Noah Vanmeter helped out on the ground, rushing for 93 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Having lost for the first time this season, Frontier fell to 10-1. As for Pioneer, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.
