At the May meeting of the All Aboard Monon board, President Jim Davis reported that between sponsorships and donations the expenses of the day should be covered for the annual Monon Food Fest on June 7.
In addition to past food trucks and vendors, several new food vendors have sent reservations. The Monon Fire Department also has scheduled a biscuits and gravy breakfast that morning.
Deb Vandervort reported on parade units that have confirmed. No registration to participate in the parade in necessary. Everyone is welcome: bicycles, golf carts, pets, businesses, and car show entrants. The car show participants will drive through town and directly to the car show location on East 4th St. The parade will leave the North White parking lot at 9:45 a.m. The schedule is:
10 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Food trucks and food tents, craft vendors, kids’ games, barrel train, dunk tank, car show, bounce house, petting zoo, pony rides
Restrooms: Civic Center, Fire Station, Port-o-pots
Information: 8 – 10 a.m. Methodist Church parking lot
First Aid and Lost and Found – Fire Station
Parking – Market Street and North White High School
