County settles teachers’ lawsuit over activeshooter drill



White County has reached a legal settlement with the group of teachers from Meadowlawn Elementary School who were shot with pellet guns by sheriff’s deputies during an active shooter drill. The case was resolved in July, according to at least one party to the lawsuit, who confirmed the conclusion on condition of anonymity. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. […]
